😀 Hi everyone!

I’m writing this post to tell you about my favourite place to relax near my home. I was born in the Opolskie near Mount St. Anna. It is the highest elevation of the Chełmski massif, the mountain is visible from a distance, almost from every corner of the Opolskie region and rises to a height of 406 m above sea level.

 I want to present all the most important objects in the mountain St. Anna. Every year I visit this place in different seasons, but my favourite season is spring I want to visit this place by bike once a year, this is my decision.

The mountain itself is quite small, but you can find a lot of tourist attractions which you can spend the whole day.

What is worth visiting?

  The 50th summer Basilica of Saint. Anna and the parish square and Lourdes grotto.

 A calvary consisting of 40 chapels and churches, it is an extremely beautiful several-kilometer trail along the slopes of the Holy Mountain. Anne. Overcoming the entire path of the Lord's Passion takes about 2 hours.








 

 
A geological reserve, which have perfectly prepared recently didactic paths with extensive descriptions in place of the former volcanic crater.

Amphitheater, which is one of the most impressive buildings on the Mount of St. Anne. At the beginning of the current amphitheater there was a limestone quarry. In 1934, the German authorities began rebuilding the quarry for an amphitheater, which had 7,000. seats and 20,000 standing places.

 

Monument to the Silesian Uprising which is the main place of celebrations dedicated to the memory of the fallen in the Silesian uprisings and one of the most famous objects of this type in Silesia.














Museum of the Uprising Act, this is the perfect history lesson, on which we will be able to see hundreds of exhibits and archival photographs. The exhibition is enriched with audio-visual materials, which perfectly approximates and intensifies the drama of uprising fights in the area of ​​the Holy Mountain Anny. 
 
 

Curiosity

Near the road that leads to the St. Anne Mountain, there is a lot of cherry trees, which in the spring when they bloom attract a huge number of people who take pictures of themselves.
